Welcome to Star Harbor, Texas

Tucked away on the southern end of Cedar Creek Lake lies the quiet little town of Star Harbor.  Surrounded by an abundance of towering trees and wildlife, the over 400 residents of Star Harbor enjoy our serene setting.

Citizens of this small municipality take great pride in its appearance.  This well- kept community became incorporated in April of 1970.

Operating as a "Type B" General Law city, Star Harbor has a mayor and five council members serving as our governing officials.  A portion of their responsibility lies as overseers of community projects such as maintenance of the eight miles of streets that serve the residents.  To help maintain our high standards and quality of life, we have built own own water system for the populace.

For golf enthusiasts Star Harbor is home to a beautiful nine-hole public golf course of over 2373 yards with a par of 34.  Playing golf in the City of Star Harbor is a memorable experience and the course is open year round for your golfing pleasure.  Daily green fees are only $15, or if you prefer, annual golf memberships are available for only $400.  Golf carts are not available for rent, but parking is ample and golfers are encouraged to bring their own carts or to easily walk the nine holes. The course does offer wheeled caddy carts on a first come basis.

Other amenities in Star Harbor include a city hall and club house which is available for rental to both residents and non-residents alike.  Whether hosting a bridal luncheon, family reunion or holiday party, this facility is a perfect location for your special event.

Some of the most picturesque views of Cedar Creek Lake can be found standing on the shores of Star Harbor ... if peace, quiet and solitude are what you're searching for.
